Spots and Blemishes

The depravity of the false teachers in Peter’s day is breathtaking. He does not hold back in describing them, even calling them "brute beasts”. They have followed the way of Balaam—the prophet in the Old Testament that was scolded by his donkey. I know, right? He sold his prophetic powers to the pagan king Balak for money. Needless to say, he never got to enjoy it.
