There is nothing more fulfilling than reaching out and helping others in need. We all have gifts, talents and the ability to help someone. It may be helping with back-to-school supplies at the Budget Suites or outreach for a fun night for police and families. It might be a barbeque in an area of town that just needs some love. It might be serving at Westcare or in a local school. Whatever you are looking for, we have an opportunity to share your gifts and talents. It is a fact that when we pour out to others, help, and just be there for others, it blesses us. We have many opportunities to serve one another; all you need to do is let us know if you are interested, and we will plug you in.

Outreach opportunities

Budget Suites

This is a quarterly outreach to the good people at the Budget Suites. It strives to help people who are suffering through housing transition. We do back to school and holiday parties for them.

Project Givaway

Project Giveaway is an outreach program on the second Saturday of each month focused on our city's homeless population.

Redberry Community

Redberry is a community on Cheyenne and Michael Way. It had a significant crime problem. Local churches and LVMPD joined forces to reach this community. We do a monthly outreach in this area and would love your participation.

How do I volunteer?

Show up and let us get to know you, and you get to know us. Then, we can uniquely match your gifts with our needs. If you have something specific you want to volunteer for, please let us know, and we will plug you in.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Children are a unique gift from God that we are blessed to lead and guide. If you want to serve on the children's team, you will need to wait a six-month period during which we can get to know you and your abilities with children. Please note that there are background check requirements for working in children's ministry in addition to the waiting period.

How do I volunteer with music?

Do you play a musical instrument or sing? Do you have tech experience, including sound and lights, PowerPoint, and pro presenter? If so, we have so many opportunities to volunteer in this area of the church. If you do not have the skills and want to learn, we can also help. Just let us know, and we can hook you up.

How do I volunteer with students?

Young people are the future of everything we do. They are the future leaders of our nation and the future of everything else. Young people need the mentorship of the wiser to remain grounded and learn. We want to allow our youth to lead and to grow into all that they were created to do. If you would like to work with youth this will have the same requirements as children since they are very impressionable. Please understand our stance on our children and youth.
