Genesis Part II; Creation In Ruins, Grace Before the Storm

Genesis 6:1–8 is one of the most mysterious and powerful passages in Scripture. It describes a world spiraling out of control—where spiritual boundaries are crossed, wickedness spreads like wildfire, and every intention of the human heart is bent toward evil. It’s a picture of deep moral and spiritual darkness. It sounds familiar. It also reminds us that even when humanity hits rock bottom, God’s grace still reaches down. It’s a timelly word for anyone feeling overwhelmed by darkness—in the world or in their own life.
And yet—in verse 8, “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”
