Everyone wants joy. Not the shallow, circumstantial kind that comes and goes… but a joy that holds steady even when life feels delayed, difficult, or disappointing.

In Genesis 18, Abraham and Sarah are waiting people — waiting for a promise that seemed too late, too long, and now, humanly impossible.

And yet this passage teaches us that God brings joy to the places we think are too broken, too old, or too far gone.
